  An amazing host and great hostel. If you truly want to experience the country you should go here. Darren has good tips about where to go and he knows good food :)

  Darrens house was cozy and full of positive vibes. Room was clean and I felt there very comfortable. My favourite place in house was terrace on rooftop. I was watching fireworks at night from there and it was gorgeous. Near is beautiful park - San Anton gardens, where was filming Game of Thrones. I loved it there. Also from house is short walking distance to everything like, bus stops, mini markets, post office, bars. One weakness of house was that rooms had no air-conditioning, but there was fan instead. Darren was really hostable and kind.

  I went to Malta with a friend. We have been here several times but Darren's hostel did jump out as far as we are concerned. Darren is a nice, helpful and friendly host. He provides people with tips about the country, what is fun to do, where you can eat well and how you can save money to do even more fun things. I would recommend the country and the stay with Darren. I would advise to contact Darren and have a nice stay in his hostel. The hostel is decorated with love and care. The roof terrace gives, especially in the evening, a fantastic view over a large part of Malta. The hostel is centrally located. From here you can get anywhere by bus. If you want a cheap holiday or a relaxing holiday or a vacation at all, I recommend going to Malta and staying in Darren's hostel. This will be an experience that will stay with you for a long time.

  I only stayed for one night , but I have been very warmly welcomed by Darren at his house. He helped me out with my luggage, offered me drinks and went above and beyond, to make me feel very comfortable as a solo traveller. His place is clean , safe , beautiful rooftop terrace and the vibe is one of happiness and coziness. Birkirkara is a very central place to travel to and from all around Malta. Its been my best Airbnb experience so far and I am sure I will be returning and recommending to my friends too. Thank you once again Darren for your kindness , the drinks and your very friendly hospitality. Saħħa! :-)
