::One of my best decisions ever was to attend this Gym. Inside it looks rough, rugged and raw. Not like those super modern air con trendy places with trendy hipsters inside them. This is more like Rocky IV type of place to train. Except it's very international since people attending come all over the world and Siberia is million miles away luckily. I love it. Newbie such as myself in the Jiu-Jitsu game, felt immediately welcomed and the atmosphere truly is both relaxed yet efficient when it comes to learning the art itself. A competent, motivated and patient Finn runs the show with help of other great instructors and I must say it's always as fun as it is challenging. Brings much enjoyment to my life and great balance to my office work. The gym itself located in the heart of Gzira is location wise quite excellent here on The Rock. I highly recommend anyone who's travelling or in any way interested in Jiu-Jitsu to come visit and roll with Arete dudes / dudines! Awesome place, even better people, 5/5. No bullshit.

::Great place to train if you're in Malta. Antti is extremely welcoming and the club has a great vibe. The club is in Gzira which means it's easy to get to from the main travel spots in the island. Will be back.

::Tried out the BJJ at Arete yesterday with my brother and I had a great time. If you can deal with the heat, you will find a club with a relaxed atmosphere and a lot of potential. The instructor was very welcoming and the session was divided into clear sections which allowed a range of techniques to be drilled at different paces, with plenty of time for rolling at the end. Needless to say, I will be returning! :)
