Over rated i'm afraid. Had read previous reviews and looked forward to having a nice meal but was sadly let down. Certainly not the best curry i've had and to be honest it could'nt be considered as even being average. Also expensive for what i would consider as a small portion. As the owner has since replied and dismissed my review it has confirmed how arrogant he was when both my wife and i attended. Why would i write a review on a place i had not attended. The resteraunt has had good reviews hence why we attended but our experience did not match that. The owner/ chef is more interested in holding court in the front of house instead of being where a chef should be in the kitchen. He can dismiss all negative reviews as not recognising the diners as attending but this just quantifies his attitude and cutomer care

I really don't know how this place has got such great reviews. It's pretty average and we were really disappointed with the food. I ordered a butter chicken and it really tasted nothing like butter chicken. It wasn't even the right colour. Overpriced average food, give it a miss and go elsewhere.

Amazing food, with amazing people. This is a must in Malta. The best curry I have had in a long time. Thank you for a wonderful meal.

This is definitely NOT a kids' friendly place. The owner asked us to make our kids be quite. A kind of surprising given that it's a tourist destination. It took over an hour to have out meals served. All in all, the food was delitious. Families - stay away from this place!

Whilst on our holiday in Malta this June, my wife and I decided to go for a "ruby" We entered the restaurant and was soon confronted by an English chap brandishing a menu for us to peruse. I was somewhat taken aback. Then, when he informed us that he was the chef then introduced us to his wife, also European I was almost in shock, which he definitely noticed. I was a little hesitant to order, but plucked up the courage and did so. When our dinner arrived, all my doubts immediately disintegrated, the food was as good as any curry I had ever eaten in 57 years, he certainly knew how to cook curry. I would definitely recommend Beagles restaurant . And whilst you are there, give the two dogs a stroke for me.
