  We went on a hop on hop off trip to this place. I do not recommend this mode of transport. Approximately halfway around the tour, the driver CRAMMED as many people into the bus because people had overstayed at various points, and still expected to get on the last bus. I gather the driver phoned for a relief bus,which was refused,

  Great setup for visiting the sea caves, a sort of co-op of locals taking six to eight tourists in their small boats to the caves, all very helpful and knowledgeable. Try to go later in the day when the sun is lower for the best light. Also best when the sea is calm if you get seasick!

  A great attraction and one which should not be missed by anyone visiting Malta. We visited in February but the weather was fantastic and there was a steady stream of customers. Cost is very reasonable at just €8 for an adult. The boatmen are very friendly and make sure you don't miss anything. Good restaurants and cafés beside the docks. The boat trip itself takes about 25 minutes and takes you through a number of other inlets and rocky passages as well as the Blue Grotto. Bring your camera, its beautiful.

  If in Malta you must must must go here. To say it is beautiful is totally an understatement. Little boats to pop into the magnificent caves just stunning. Guys on boats tell you all about the caves and the water is such a shade of blue. When you get back to land use the little golf buggy to take you back to top of hill and have a coffee and enjoy the view.
