  My fiancée and I recently stayed at Casa Ellul. We had a great stay. The hotel is well located in Valletta which is a stunning part of Malta. Having spent a lot of time on the island, this is one of the nicest hotels in the country. It has been beautifully designed and the rooms are modern but classic. The restaurant breakfast was amazing, and the homemade cakes are a real treat. Most importantly the staff are polite, helpful and genuinely lovely people. We would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for something special in Malta. Bravo!

  Hands down the best hotel I've stayed in on the Maltese islands - I hope I'll have the opportunity to stay here again someday! Rooms are extremely well finished and the hot tubs on the terraces of suite 7 and 8 are a superb addition; genuinely hot, and amazing to relax in after a hard day's marathon running (we visited for the Malta Marathon). Some reviews say rooms are small but we found suite 7 to be more than adequate and larger than expected. The views over the Valletta roof tops are incredible. Breakfast is basically 'a la carte', but served quickly and very competently. The quality is extremely high and it's definitely the nicest breakfast I've ever had on Malta. The staff here are brilliant; very friendly and soon treat you as a friend. For me this makes the difference between a good experience and an amazing experience. All in all Casa Ellul is easy to recommend. It's pricey, but absolutely worth it. And yes, the rooms really do look as good as they look in the pictures!

  I cannot imagine a better experience. It's in a great location in Valletta close to everything. The whole staff is awesome. Deborah, Silvia, Sarah, and the rest are attentive and stellar. The chefs do amazing work. The rooms are modern, clean, and very comfortable. It's an urban boutique hotel so rooms are compact.

  A very quaint boutique hotel with a great location in Valletta. Finding the place is half the fun. I stayed there while on business and although the hotel is clearly geared towards leisure guests, I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. Everyone there, including the owner are very helpful and will bend over backwards to make your stay as comfortable as possible. They also recommended some amazing restaurants around Valletta which did not disappoint.
