  Highly recommend!!! No one else gets you closer to the caves like Sandro. We had the best day of our Malta holiday.

  The perfect way to see Comino and the Blue Lagoon. You can go to the main swimming area and when you are tired from the crowd, come and relax on the boat and swim around near the boat. Sandro was a great guide. Highly recommended! Not pricey either considering you have a whole day out at sea.

  The first time that we went on the English Rose Cruise to The Blue Lagoon was 21 yrs ago and over the years we have been on it 6 times in fact every time we come to Malta. We wouldn't go with anyone else. Lovely day out, can't fault it at all. Sandro and his crew make you very welcome, food and drinks very reasonably priced, plenty of time to swim and dive at both lagoons and always been friendly people on the boat to chat with. Very cheap day out, the children love it too and are also made very welcome, our 22yr old daughter was 18months old on her first trip.

  Perfection of a day. From the moment we got on the boat we were made welcome by the crew. The boat set of and it was not packed like a sardine can, so we were able to sit comfortably. For €13 each an adult for all day, I was sceptical how good it was going to be. Or of we were going to be constantly up sold items on route, but no. Yes we could by an ice cream or a sandwich, pop or beer...but it was such good value. The ice creams which had been €3 each on the land, were only €1.50! Amazing...and a sandwich €1.80 you just can't argue with the value. The trip its self was amazing too, moving around the outside of the island and taking the boat into the larger caves. Stopping off for a couple of hours in one bay and swimming out from the boat. Then later in the afternoon going to the much quieter and absolutely, stunningly, beautiful crystal lagoon (further round and even better than the blue lagoon). I was regretting not bringing a snorkle, when the captain told everyone if anyone wanted a snorkle to borrow he has a box full (no charge). In the lagoon we were able to swim around and see shoals of fish in the crystal water. Truly the best €13 I have spent.

  What a fantastic day if you want to go on a boat trip then it must be the English Rose sandro and his crew are so friendly and helpful nothing is too much trouble I go on to the blue lagoon when I'm in Malta and would only go on the English Rose the best boat in Mellieha
