::Pretty good location, the rooms are basic but comfortable enough and staff are helpful.

::Sea view, but no children area. Typical city hotel in Malta. Room cleaned everyday + towels. Breakfest ok
Alan Jones
::Basic, but clean and tidy. Breakfast buffet reasonable for the price.

::Two stars on its door fully depict the contents. Everything old and shabby inside, room walls painted spotty white, balcony doors not closing (water was running inside the room when it rained). The rusty fan above my bed was a cherry on this post-apocalyptic cake (I guess it's ultra useful in summer but it looks like it's going to crumble once it starts rotating). Ah yes, darn cold here in winter (but there are extra blankets). Good things: there's hot water (although the pressure sometimes makes you cry), friendly staff, good location on the sea shore (my room overlooked some pipes on the walls, though), convenient bus connection to everywhere. I also liked the fragrance of the shower gel they provided.

::This is a basic two star hotel. There's no air-conditioning and Malta in August is hot - really hot. My (single) room had a view to the service area. Sleep at night was disturbed by doors and windows banging. The room was serviced and cleaned every day by a cheerful lady. Don't bother with the six Euro breakfast, it's cheaper at a nearby bar. It's not all doom and gloom though. The hotel is cheap and the location is superb being right on the sea front. I'm returning to Malta next year but I'll be looking for a hotel with air conditioning and a view out of the window.
