  WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER! We got there 45min before it closed, were surprised it was now 2EUR per person, but it's not a big deal. We were 2, I handed 10EUR, the man at the entrance told me he doesn't have change. I suggested we enter and by the time we get out, other visitors would have paid and he will have change. He rudely told us off, that it's closing in 10min, we're the first visitors of the day, no one else will come, he doesn't have change so there's nothing he can do for us. We didn't have any other solution than to simply walk away...

  Museum has free admission and gives lots of interesting information about fortification and history of Malta. For longer visits in Valletta it's worth to spends an hour or 2 for historical overview of fortifications of whole island

  Nice exposition and nice view of the fortification insides. Great place to hide from the overwhelming hot air during the day.

  Great museum! I really enjoyed it. Must go if you are into history (of cities and their defense structures), and if you want to understand the location of Valletta, all the forts and the Harbour. It shows the start of strongholds in prehistoric times all the way up to WW2 and Cold War. The exposition relies mainly on information panels as their are not many relicts or archeological objects. Entrance is free.

  Very detailed and interesting exhibition. Fantastic atmosphere created by the surroundings and staff. We were able to visit whilst the venue was quiet so were able to enjoy the entire display. Enthralling. The location is stunning, the view from the top of the venue is also breath taking. Well worth the visit.
