  Had a great experience with these guys. Hired out a jeep for a couple of days then swapped it for a 206 with no issues. If you want to hire a car in Malta chose these guys. Peace of mind and very friendly customer service.

  Many car rental companies in Malta, especially the big companies require large deposits by credit card to cover any damage but isn't that what the car insurance is for? So on recommendation I hired with FreeWays and collected and returned car to airport and couldn't have been easier and a good price. Will be hiring again on next visit.

  I had a terrible rude experience trying to rent a car at T.W.L car hire place just round the corner. Luckily ai walked away from there and came across Freeways! No problems whatsoever, hired the car and had a great honest service. We even booked a return taxi which was very reasonable. Will definitely use them again for any transport needs in Malta and next time will check our their tours too.

  Reliable and honest car rental in Malta. Read many scary stories about using larger companies to hire cars in Malta, so decided to use Freeways Auto Rentals through recommendation online. We were greeted at the airport by Freeways, all details and payment were completed at the cafe in the airport, off we drove within 15 mins. We also bought the fully comprehensive insurance on the spot for an extra 5 euros a day, which I think it's good value as other companies tend to charge around 10 euros a day for it. I think the fully comprehensive is worth it considering the state of the many roads in Malta and also the aggressiveness of some of the Maltese drivers. The car came with full tank of fuel and we returned it full (refueled at the petrol station next to the airport). Parked the car at the airport car park on the day of return and texted Freeways after we dropped the car. Everything went smoothly. Would definitely recommend this company for car rental in Malta!

  Prices were very competitive. Got a free upgrade to a bigger car. Car was clean and in good shape. Prompt response to email inquiries. Freeways is a very professional company and the owner is very friendly.
