  We booked for a sunset ride (2 ladies in our 60's at novice level) and had such an amazing time that we're now having weekly riding lessons at home. The staff were lovely and very concerned for our safety - no chances taken! Beautiful gentle horses. It was the highlight of our holiday and we're having a few days extra this year in the hope we can book for 2 rides. Can't recommend highly enough.

  Haven't been on a horse in 20 years and they put in the lead, my daughter was sooo jealous. Absolutely loved it, the terrain is varied and makes ride very interesting. Being at the head of 13 horses clopping along is spine tingling and made me feel like I was at the changing of the guard. I was on Tanoy best horse ever. Really nice, down to earth guys in charge. Do the sunset ride if possible.

  My son loved this so much that he went back for another ride. Sunset ride was stunning, and staff are great - even provided a lift from the hotel and back. Marco does his best to accommodate requests, and having been talking with him about the business I'm quite surprised reading some of the negative reviews here. Highly recommended, but remember they are busy riding and caring for the horses, so worth giving them a call to confirm rather than turning up and expecting to ride 😎

  Had a fantastic time riding today. We turned up without a booking and they very kindly squeezed us in so that we could get to the airport in time for our flight. Everyone was so friendly and the horses were kept in great condition - despite the heat they were all healthy and happy and had a lovely cool yard to get away from the sun. As experienced riders we would definitely recommend golden bay stables to anyone.
