Had an enjoyable stay at Hotel Juliani over the New Year (yup, it has been quite some time back!). The hotel is conveniently located in Valleta and overlooks St. Julian's bay. There are bus stops just outside the hotel which brings you to most places, including the airport and the ferry terminal to Gozo Island. McDonalds is just next door, with many other restaurants and pubs to choose from. The clinic, pharmacy and convenient stores are all within walking distance as well. There are dvds which you can borrow from the reception, though mostly old movies. Hotel breakfast had a good variety that serves some local Malta snacks too. Beverage can be ordered and served from the counter. Hotel staff are friendly too.

This is a tranquil and peaceful little hotel on the bottom of the hill by the bay. The breakfast is full and you are given a full selection and the service staff is very helpful and friendly. The Rooms are kept very clean and the size of the rooms are much larger than most other hotels. Its also painted with light pastel colours this also puts a calm effect on the customers. This hotel was re-fitted and upgraded to its present status, this i was told by the night manager a Mr. Alfred Camelliery a very helpful person from the hotel. I recommend this hotel as a great place to stay taking everything the hotel offers in the St Julians bay area. I enjoyed my stay there and look forward to staying there again on my next visit. Cheers, G.Kurian esq. From London.

Hotel, the management, the staff, all services and the food are wonderful, only in some foods they add too much salt and the good taste of the food will be spoiled.

It is an ok place to stay. Bear in mind this is far from downtown Valetta but St Julian's bay is pretty hipster and cool. The beds are a big big let down. The mattress is extremely uneven which means it is not flat and makes sleeping quite difficult. The cleaners may be overworked for the hotel understaffed because we hung the 'please clean the room' sign at 10 am but even at 3pm it was left untouched. Only when we told the front counter staff did they clean it. The female front counter staff was quite impatient.
