::No change and no receipt , avoid big notes , it dont give back or either give you a receipt for refund as mentioned , no credit cards are usable , no american , no visa no mastercard ! , Malta should do something regard this its not acceptable !!!! Another driver with same problem extra mony no refund after reaching full for rental car

::Good place to fuel up. Rebuild and modern (enough). It also has it's own ATM machine before the pumps. What's striking with (all) the fuel stations in Malta are the opening hours. All of them close very early and are not open (out if office hours). They seem to follow opening hours of the shops. When fueling up during open hours you only seen to be able to pay with cash. Cards (bank and credit cards) are not accepted. But at least you can pay (the correct amount) after fueling up. Outside open hours you can still fuel up but only by feeding a machine cash. Sometimes cards are accepted but not Visa or a bank card. Maybe only their own system. So you have to make a choice how much you need before you fuel up because you don't get a refund if you fuel less. Very hard to fuel up the tank this way. Specially for returning rental cars. 5 stars for facilities but I took away 2 starts for lacking services outside of open hours. Malta needs to modernize and maybe focus on the banking system. Starting with the fuel stations would be a good start.

::A V O I D Very unpleasant and upsetting experience. We were on our way to airport when we stopped to refuel our rented car. I put the money into the machine but never got the fuel or the receipt. And because it was a bank holiday I couldn't just go in and ask for our money back so I e-mail them. I got the response that I can come to the petrol station to collect the money. Of course it was not possible anymore because we left the country so I sent them bank details so they can pay us money back. We have never received an e-mail back. Neither the money. They should be ashamed how do they take money from the people!
