  Good fresh food, relatively okay prices for the centre of Valleta. Not usually that busy.

  Possibile che sabato ore 21.00 ,con solamente tre tavoli occupati,dei tanti antipasti sul menu' solo due fossero disponibili ? Niente da ridire sulla pasta. Servizio discutibile ...dopo l ultima forchettata hanno iniziato a sparecchiare completamente il tavolo... Bella location.. .però adesso capisco perché solamente i locali adiacenti erano molto affollati ..!

  Servizio frettoloso, piatti terminati (siamo arrivati a cena alle 21 di sabato), chiesta una birra grande pensavamo alla spina ed è arrivata una lattina..pasta al dente unica nota positiva

  Very personalized service was provided by our host, Sebastian, who knocked himself out to see that we had a splendid meal after our visit to the Teatru Manoel. Michelle, who is a very kind Maltese lady who works at the theater recommended Malata and we were very pleased with her suggestion. The sea bass was excellent as was the saltimbocca. The locally produced Cabernet Franc, which was a suggested by Sebastian, as well, and was an unexpected delight. Overall, an excellent experience!

  We used to come here regularly over ten years ago so decided to give it a go again. The food was really excellent and brought back fond memories. However, we had to sit outside on a cold night (despite the heater being brought next to our table) after we were told downstairs (ie inside the restaurant) was fully booked. What was odd was that there was no one downstairs and no one (other than staff) went downstairs during the hour we were there that evening. One male member of staff was very attentive and pleasant while one female member of staff was not. We'll give it another go and report back!
