  Game of Thrones geek - Season 1 King's Landing Gate. Everyone else, a nice big old walled city gate. Still impressive

  The old city is amazing! This is a great place to explore with kids or those who love history. Go early to beat the crowds and you will be able to get some amazing photos.

  It is a wonderful place to visit, the former capital city of Malta is one of the must see places in Malta. With around 300 residents the city still remains a gem. You can get lost in the endless maze of cross roads and high buildings - completely silent if not for the tourists. A view over the wall shows us the entire side coast of Malta.

  The former capital city of Malta. A perfect place to get to know the foundation of our history, art, architecture and cultural roots. This is still an inhabited fortress. With a renovated garden as opposed to the ditch. Great for a walk and sight seeing with family. Many places to dine.

  "The Silent city" as it is known as can enchant travellers with its atmosphere of being in a time warp since the streets are so clean and there is no modern architecture or contemporary constructions to bring you up to date with actuality. Medieval, Norman and Baroque houses and churches in splendour are dotted around the streets as one wanders through the maze-like setting making one feel like being on a film set. Fabulous views of surrounding countryside and the seacoast from the battlements.
