  Owner is really kind and helpful and so is the staff. Choosing this hotel for a place to stay is the best decision you could make. Location is also perfect.

  My husband and I had a wonderful 2 night stay at Palazzo Paolina. This new boutique hotel seamlessly blends old world Malta with the luxuries of today. Location Location Location! We lucked out with parking on the street in front of the hotel, then were able to walk everywhere for the next two days. Located in the center of Valletta so close to all the sights was very convenient, there is an array of restaurants within walking distance, and spectacular views over the water were just around the corner as well. Amenities at Palazzo Paolina were top notch. A very comfortable bed and very nice shower made our stay in this beautiful hotel that much better. We loved the illuminated, magnifying mirror section within the large mirror over the sink, and had never seen anything like this before. The staff at the front desk and throughout the hotel are so friendly and helpful. It's apparent they like working there and enjoy making each and every guest's stay a good one. We really enjoyed talking with Daniella upon our arrival and being introduced to Patrick the owner and his son Jean. It was so nice to hear the backstory on the renovation of this building straight from the owner. Patrick , a well established Contemporary Maltese artist, has paintings hung in every room... and be sure to locate his book of paintings which moves around from table to table in foyer. Breakfast is really good and it is available for a good portion of the morning. This was perfect for my early riser husband, and for myself who likes to sleep in just a little longer. He loved the sausage and eggs, and commented that it was some of the best sausage he has had before. Access to snacks and good coffee throughout the day was really nice. Since Palazzo Paolina has a central location we were able to take a break from walking around in our private, comfortable accommodations here. We really enjoyed the sweet snacks like mini pies and chocolate cake, as well as the fresh fruit! *Treat yourself and stay in the presidential suite if it is available. It has a private rooftop terrace with an outdoor living room and jacuzzi!! So fabulous!!
