This place is terrible....and that's a complement! I didn't know how can they show 3 stars.... that's absolutely impossible!! We were suppose to be there 3 nights, we run away the following morning just because we checked in late evening and didn't manage to make a booking somewhere else. This place is a disaster, room and toilet absolutely inadequate (maybe for a 1 start hostel), breakfast terrible. There are not enough bad words to describe this place....

Staff are mainly friendly, room ok but aircon iffy and sheets not changed in whole visit, shower head was broken so the shower was a trickle of water. Food left a lot to be desired, almost every meal was overcooked, leading to eating out most of the time. Pool advertises as an infinity pool, but not used as one. There were issues with people checking in, or trying too every single day, quite a few guests we spoke to had been housed in a separate hotel for at least one night, some up to 3. Saving grace is the view which is good. Malta I liked, just not this hotel.

First morning back from 2weeks at the panorama.I was not impressed by the hotel. We stayed at the solana last year,it was like getting out of a Mercedes and jumping in a Skoda. Although,it would only take some TLC to put the problems right our experience was somewhat soured. The mattresses in our room were badly stained,we put the duvet under the sheets and they were so uncomfortable they would be better stuffing them with the bouncy scrambled egg they serve at breakfast. We had a foot long cobweb hanging from our wall lamp all holiday. The rooms were cleaned but not to very good standard.Staff were friendly but tended to go missing, same member of staff running reception and bar.If I bought a drink at the bar I would have to pay at reception seemed odd.Just put a till behind bar.First time in 40 years, I've come across a hotel that doesn't have tea/coffee making facilities.Hotel can't function without Maria on reception, she was late one morning and nobody knew the code to access the safe where the safe deposit boxes were.Put the problems right you will end up losing custom. Going to Bulgaria next year.

The rooms were ok for a 3 star hotel, the pool was quite nice, the breakfast was poor and for the most part the staff were fairly friendly. However I had booked airport transfers with the hotel which turned out to be a joke. They must not have booked them, as on arrival at the airport there was no ride, it took over 3 hours to reach the hotel. Even worse (and why I won't go back) was on the day of our departure, we checked out in the morning and asked what time we should be back for the transfer. 3 hours 50 minutes before the flight we were told. We made sure we were back well before this time. When the deadline came and went, we asked what was happening only to be told that they are often late. We waited another hour and asked again. Then began an increasingly heated argument. We were told we had not booked any transfers, even after I showed them the booking form with all the details. The staff member would not accept that we had booked them, the manager was phoned 3 times (but I was not allowed to speak with them) and said this is our problem to deal with. This argument lasted a good half an hour. I know there are differences between cultures, but I found it difficult to grasp that the hotel would allow its guests to get stranded and miss their flight! If you do go to Panorama (and I urge you not to), make sure you check your transfers!
