  Staff very friendly and helpful, rooms and bathrooms old worn tired and in need of a complete refit. Hotel situated in a rough area away from the sea front, streets surrounding it full of uncollected rubbish. No hotel parking as advertised on website, very limited parking in surrounding streets. Food in restaurant passable for a three star hotel well cooked but with limited variety and choice. Room service and cleanliness throughout hotel very good. Paid €200 for room upgrade to achieve a reasonable standard of accommodation. Would not recommend this hotel as there are many better ones in St Paul's at a similar cost.

  Basic hotel but the room was very clean and staff very pleasant .lots of sunbed so always 1 available. Had different menu most nights not much vegetarian though.not far from the sea front and bars would stay their again

  Quiet place in a busy enviroment, close to everything. Buses, to Bugibba. To Aquarium, to car museum etc. Nice pool and lovely staff

  San pawl hotel was better than I expected for a 3 star. We booked half-board,the manager went out of his way for my son who is fussy with food, n made fried fish to order each night which he really liked. The staff were very friendly and helpful with travelling by bus, n what to see and do.the entertainment was good too.

  We stayed at this hotel for 5 nights in January. It cost £100 each for the flights, hotel and breakfast. This is very cheap, so even though there were many problems with the hotel, it was still good for the price we paid. This was the second cheapest hotel on easyjet's website. I chose this over the cheapest as it claimed to be a 3 star hotel. If reviewing the place as a 3 star hotel, it is a really poor one. The room was ok, the beds were not very comfy and I was cold at night, as they don't make the beds warmer for winter. The room was clean in the obvious areas but the corners of the room and under the beds had not been cleaned and we spotted a couple of insects. Some people complained of mosquitoes, we only had a couple of them. The worst part of the hotel is the state of the indoor pool. The outdoor pool was too cold to use at this time of year, and having an indoor pool at such a cheap hotel seemed too good to be true, well it was. The pool was very dirty. There was debris and hairs on the bottom of the pool and surrounding the pool. But the worst thing was the smell. The water smelt horrid and very stale. I didn't trust this pool to use it again. Also the hotel tell people that they have to pay for a pool towel to use the pool. This is a dishonest practise as this is not mentioned when booking. Even if the 3 star features of the hotel were very poor, this hotel is still good value for money even if you just treat it as a place to sleep.
