AVOID. You will be surrounded by a tall wall and have to ask to be let out! Especially avoid the woman and if you are British. She hates our Queen and wont stop criticising. Long suffering Husband is a pleasure to meet and spend time with. No drinking water available (no shops)TV or even wi wi in rooms

1.Property situated down a narrow lane opposite a camp for illegal African immigrants, an army base and major road junction 2. Migrants are wandering around at night and appearing from bushes and walking is scary, but they were pleasant to talk to in the daylight 3. Property is surrounded by a 3-4 meter high wall and once the owners have electronically opened the gates are locked electronically 24-7 and you can not leave without asking! 4. No key is provided to leave and permission has to be sought or you can 'escape' when someone else is leaving. 5. I was asked/told I had to pay for my room and breakfast before even seeing my room or eating my breakfast! 6. I had the most expensive accommodation available so my expectations were high. It was, in fact, a far from attractive out-building in the garden with almost no natural light in the bedroom. 7.No Wifi to the Internet [ as clearly confirmed by woman owner]. 8. No drinking water in the room or provided. The woman owner could she understand why I wanted any. Malta's tap water is from the sea & very salty and unpalatable even when boiled and nobody drinks it. All other accommodation in my 11 days provided huge supplies, often in a fridge. As you can't leave the property without asking and there are no shops or eating places within walking distance to buy any. it was a nightmare as I had no transport. 9. The B&b claims it is 2 Star Hotel with a restaurant. It definitely has no restaurant and is certainly not a ‘Hotel’ 10. No kettle to boil water. 10.No glass or cup if you had water. 11.No goodies or extras. The outhouse was just an unattractive shell although very nicely furnished. 12. The woman owner was both aggressive & bizarre and erupted for absolutely no reason. When I went at 9.30 to ask for water after attempting to find a shop I received so much abuse. I asked her twice to stop. But she just continued ranting and I left without any water. 13. If you are British and decide to stay, be warned the woman hates our wonderful Queen and foul mouths her for no reason other than her resentment and will not stop even when repeatedly asked. 14. The toilet would not flush. 15. No Tv in room, and almost no natural light, no water, can’t leave without permission as the huge gate is electronically locked as you enter...a nightmare 14. Not wishing a repeat performance of the woman’s insults at breakfast, I asked the delightful long-suffering husband if he would electronically unlock the 3 meter high gates and left in the early hours without breakfast.
