Good clean hotel too many kids and large parties of people. Blonde receptionist needs replaceing has an attitude problem. Waited 4 hours for room registration which eventually had to be done at hotel over the road which is part of the same complex. There is also a €50 deposit which we were not aware of or informed of before arrival. Get what you pay for

Although several people appear to have complained about the food etc, my wife and I have just had a pleasant weeks stay here. It's a bit dated and basic but the staff were lovely and worked hard. Nothing appeared to be too much for them. The area lacks a bit and is a bit grubby but this is more down to tourists just throwing litter on the floor. I've stayed in better definately but I've also stayed in a lot worse. Credit to the staff. My only issue I had was with noisy groups of youths screaming and shouting late at night as I am a light sleeper but this isn't the fault of the hotel staff.

Service is good, workers are very nice and helpful, although swimming pool closes at 6 and food is just horrible. Rooms are tidy

Let's get the good things out of the way first. The rooms are spacious and clean, there's a big wall screen, and balconies overlooking the pool area. Staff is friendly, and the breakfast menu, while a bit plain, nutritious and filling. Now, on to the bad things. The hotel advertises itself as "Parking available" - no hotel should do that if said parking is municipal parking with the guests in direct competition with locals for the available spots! Expect to spend 5-10 minutes hunting for a spot, and the walking to the hotel. The rooms have no potable water - how is this acceptable in the developed world?! You are expected to spend in their lobby vending machines or buy water from local stores if you want to quench your thirst. Overall, the hotel is acceptable, but the arguably false advertising of parking and the lack of potable water in the rooms is just plain infuriating.

We arrived on Sunday afternoon , after notifying reception repeatedly that we had no towels we eventually had them late evening Tuesday with no apologies but the excuse that laundry doesn't come until the afternoons. So we had been in residence through 3 laundry drops but had been overlooked .Our room was cleaned only once all week which was on Thursday , this was also the only day that laundry collected our towels which they did not replace so we were without towels again until we left on Saturday. On the first night we paid a deposit for a room safe , we could not work it , on reporting it to reception they asked if we had been given an information sheet , the answer was no , one was wordlessly handed to us. We tried again with the safe , a key was needed according to the information sheet. Back to reception . Again no apology just a shrug and the key. At mealtimes you have to queue for tea cups as there are not enough to go around. Also we were told by our rep that our boarding passes would come Thursday so we enquired at reception , the answer was no, again the same Friday. Reception convinced us that it was not supposed to arrive until Saturday. Saturday we were starting to panic as we were leaving that night, and still no from reception. We rang our rep who assured us that as arranged the boarding passes had been dropped off on Thursday and an email had been sent to the hotel as a written record of this. We relayed this to reception who could not find either the passes or the email. We rang our rep again. Reception once more asked us our names and room number and hey presto found the email and the passes !!! We wasted our last morning in Malta dealing with their habitual incompetence. We were not unexpected visitors but prebooked paying guests in this hotel and expected to be treated as such. We have mentioned just a selection of what we could have, in a nutshell it is the worst hotel we have ever stayed in and we are not picky travellers and have never given anywhere a bad review before. This place though deserves it.
