::We went on the Gozo an Blue Lagoon cruise on 1 April. The Journey was very rough and we found out later that some of the other companies had canceled on that day due to the rough see conditions. A company that doesn’t prioritize the safety of passengers is a serious concern. Furthermore, we only had 30mins for lunch and exploring in Gozo! At Blue Lagoon they were offering to take passengers on a 20min boat ride to the caves for 15euros per person when it should only cost 5-7euros per person according to locals. But it wasn’t even possible to do this due to the unsafe sea conditions and they shouldn’t have even offered it at that time. At 40euros per person, this was definitely a rip off. We arrived back at Sliema at 5.30pm and our transfer back to the hotel was not there. They forgot about us! After asking a couple of times, we finally arrived back at our hotel(10mins drive away) at 6.45pm. Definitely not recommended!

::Waste of time and money. Of the 6 hour trip we spent about 45 minutes actually doing things. It’s a 10 til 4.30 excursion (leaving at 3.30 to get home for 4.30). Were picked up from our hotel 15 mins late. The boat itself left about 30 mins late. The boat made everyone feel seasick. It was overcrowded - loads of people had no seat. No one could hear the announcements on the speaker. We were then told about a 20 min excursion from comino to go see the caves, which we paid €15 each for on top of the €50 we’d already paid. Arrived at Gozo at 12.30 and lots of people were confused as to who was supposed to get off. Got to comino at 12.40 where they refused to let us off til we ate the lunch they made us. By the time that was over we got off the boat at 1.10ish where they told us to be back for the cave excursion at 1.30. So we walked around for 10 mins and got back on the boat. That’s when we were told the cave excursion started in Gozo and we had to go back over. So we went back to Gozo and they told us they’d let us know when the cave boat got there. After 20 mins passed we realised we were running out of time to swim in the blue lagoon (which is all we really wanted to do - the whole reason we came to Malta) so we asked when the boat would arrive. “2.15”. We got on a boat to Gozo 45 mins before we needed to. 45 mins that could’ve been spent in the blue lagoon. At that point we were angry but they reassured us we’d have time at the blue lagoon. The cave boat didn’t show up til 2.20 and once we were on we then had to wait for the people who got off at Gozo to arrive - so we didn’t set off til 2.50. The cave boat wasn’t even worth it. You can’t see out the windows to see the caves and there isn’t really anything you can’t see from land. By the time we finally arrived at comino it was 3.15 and we didn’t have time to swim in the blue lagoon. I was literally reduced to tears. I was so disappointed. We didn’t even get back at 4.30, we got back at 5.15. And once we arrived there was no guidance whatsoever as to which coach goes back to which hotels, literally leaving people stranded on the pavement. We’ve booked another excursion with another company for another day - on the one day we had reserved as a ‘beach and pool’ day, which is a shame. Terrible. Unorganised company, useless staff, and overall a huge waste of a day of our holiday. Only reason it seems so popular is because it seems to have a lot of connections with hotels. Very unfortunate. EDIT: Went with Luzzu Cruises a few days later and they were amazing. They offer the same kind of tours as captain morgans and are so much better. They are slightly more expensive in the sense that you have to pay for transport to the port but are so worth it. We got to spend over 4 hours at the blue lagoon (45 mins more than advertised, despite being slightly late) and just overall had a much much better experience. They also took us to see some of the caves for no extra cost on the journey home. They are online and also have kiosks all along the Sliema ports.

::Captain Morgan cruises provides the best cruises for the price, food and drinks are in the price and all together it's a cheap day with them. Even better if you get the 7 days public transportation ticket right at the airport and use their offer and get a free cruise

::Took a tour got to see a lot from sea. Boat was comfortable and we'll equipped. Bar and toilet facilities. Having some talking over the on board PA system helps make it easy to spot things and gives a lot of background information. Well worth it.

::Don't wast your money and time! A business of liar and imposter... The scum of Malta! It's a FAKE COMPANY. Without any notice they cancel tours booked and paid a day before and do not refound your money. They changed the tour from Friday to Thursday without any notice. All they like to do is to steal your money. See also Google!!!
