::An interesting and mysterious archeological site
Ciaron Murphy
::The Clapham Junction cart ruts are an interesting historical site, it is an area criss-crossed with deep tracks upon which carts used to run. There are also dugout space with very small stone walls around them. Maybe they were dwellings, tombs or storage spaces? I never did find out! There are also caves a short walk from the cart ruts which has been sectioned off with stone walls. Some of these caves seem to show evidence of basic doorways and sleeping areas carved into the rocks. There are a few cave paintings on some walls but I wouldn't be able to say how old they are. Well worth a visit!

::A very interesting piece of history that can be preserved much better with minimal effort. I would start by removing the illegal bird trapping structures, clearing up at least part of the cart ruts and possibly putting replicas of how the transport carts are thought to be.

::Really nice place with an amazing view, even the rain couldn't ruined it! A really nice woman is selling coffee and snacks in a truck.

::Nature, history and pre-history all in one place. The adventurous should also look for the cave (and look up it's story) and the lucky might stumble across the tombs. I go there often with the children for some adventure and picnic!
