::The story so far...I went to the shop and spoke with Jonathan, friendly although the phone was almost ringing off the hook and it did not really give him time to focus on me as the customer, so I gave him permission to answer the phone a few times. I wanted firstly some new rubbers for the wiper blades front and back. (Toyota Celica). Not in stock but offered blades, then told they only had one type as the others were out of stock, Jonathan fitted them on for me as I was in my suit. I then inquired about rims and tyres. (5 hole) I selected two types but then told they didn't have them, I then asked for what they do have and again after saying OK to another style of rim, told that was also not available. Tyres was the same problem. After selecting a tyre brand (finally), was then called on my mobile several hours later to tell me that the tyres I selected were also not in stock. Went home and am now sat on my computer reviewing tyre importers in Malta. Tyre advice was non existent, I should have been told about the fuel efficiency, the noise level and general performance but i am afraid that this was non forthcoming and little knowledge was known or given to me by the Falcar Representative. To me, tyres and breaks are probably the most important thing I should get right when purchasing. The alloy wheel that I eventually chose was not even in the shop, but rather I had to see a picture on the website for it. Jonathan did tell me that he could go and get it and it would only take a few minutes, but after having spent some 40 minutes there already I declined. However as a sales person, wouldn't it had been better if he had just gone and got it. I was hoping to put some jazz back into my Celica and was hoping for a much more fun and knowledge giving experience, but so far am not very impressed. I am still deciding, (after paying a 100 euro deposit for tyres and alloys) whether to proceed............03/12/15... So I finally have the tyres and rims fitted. After voicing my concerns about service and the messing about, Johnathan (the manager at Mosta) and Andrew (also a manager) listened to my concerns and really made an effort to make sure everything was to my satisfaction. They even let me keep my old tyres and rims at their shop till I had sold them. Even though it was touch and go for a couple of days, I am pleased with the outcome. We had a discussion about customer service and some other marketing methods for added customer value and experience when entering the shop. I shall up-grade my original star from 3 to 4. Falcar deserved the second chance for my business and spending nearly 800 Euros is never an easy decision to make. I know what I will say now if asked about my alloys (rims) or where someone might go to select.
