  Absolutely loved this place - felt like straight out of La La Land. Great food, gorgeous place, talented pianist, excellent service. If it weren't our last night in Malta, I would have gone again the next night. A very memorable experience.

  Since before the opening of the Jazz Cave, I had been hired as a house band leader and artistic director for the venue. After a couple of months, things were not being done as stipulated in original agreement, and a 3-month termination notice was issued to the venue at the of January. Until this day, an establishment that prides itself as being a hub of live music on the island, owes a series of local musicians a SUBSTANTIAL sum of money for the work carried out until the end of January 2017. This venue might seem refined, but it is a business which has been taking advantage of musicians, and which will continue to abuse its power as long as it is given the chance to do so.

  The only thing which fits with the themed name Cave is the fact that it is underground. I totally felt that the underground, dark and dungeon feel would have been better fitting for a relaxed sofa, bar type décor rather than a high end fine dining table setting. The live Jazz band strengthened by feeling that the décor did not fit the vibe and ambiance however nothing to discredit the talent of the musicians and singer. The service was poor to say the least and the food was good although rather pricey.
