  This is the most genuine butcher shop ever. There is never a doubt about product quality and friendly faces are guaranteed. Always a pleasure!

  Great selection of meat , caters for all budgets ( selection of local pork , chicken , rabbit etc.. ) . If you fancy top end beef cuts like Wagyu Beef , Irish Gress fed, or Australian beef, this is the PLACE TO GO ! They've got a fantastic deli counter and a vast selection of wines and beers including craft beers - my all time favorite shop to visit on a weekly basis! Oh did I mention they have all basic foods too , such as milk bread eggs etc- a one stop shop for meat lovers :) can't praise it enough

  BEWARE OF BAD MEAT. Recently bought a whole "fresh" chicken from behind the counter to cook on the same day. Upon opening I was hit by a foul smell and noticed significant sliminess on the meat. Clear sign it had gone bad. This is extremely DANGEROUS and should not be sold. Please note I have been a customer for 2 years and was once impressed with the selection of meats available. However I have noticed over recent months the quality of meat has deteriorated. Having spoken to a friend, they too had noticed the decline, having contracted food poisoning from one of their chickens. I don't know why the quality has gotten so bad, perhaps a change in management? Whatever the case it is unacceptable and is putting peoples health at risk for the sake of not throwing away stock. I hope that this review is seen by the managers of the shop. And I hope for the sake of everyone that something is done about it before it's too late. I for one certainly won't be buying my meat from here again.
