  Although I haven't seen the interior, I think that Renzo Piano's conception of this monument is daring in its over simplicity of volumes and yet attention to intricate details. Inclined walls and sharp corners are overwhelming. What is particularly fantastic is the stone "embroidery" work on selected areas of the facades that are not purely ornamental but rather work as light filtration screens. I appreciate that no direct association with historic architectural elements or styles were applied.

  Modern building that goes well with the old Valletta. You'll see it when entering the city from bus terminal.

  A splendid modern building, unexpected as you enter the City, but works well. Great place to catch some shade too... ;)
