  The only problem I had with the Palazzo Consiglia was that I had to leave. By far my favourite hotel. The whole team of staff were second to none. Other hotels should send their staff here to see how it's done. They were all friendly and helpful. It's in a great location..just minutes walk to shops, restaurants and bars and all the main sights..churches, Barrakka Gardens etc and the ferry to Sliema or the three cities. The hotel is beautifully designed with each room unique, you certainly don't feel like a number here..There's everything you could ask for...A spa with indoor heated pool , hot tub and steam room you can use for free and a good deal for treatments, at a reasonable rate when hotels now are charging ridiculous prices. Also a fantastic rooftop pool and lounging area. There's a great central courtyard with a glass lift, a breakfast room and bar. My room was simply gorgeous I would have happily stayed there.Much more than a 5*. Thank you Palazzo Consiglia for making my first visit to Malta so memorable. ..I will see you again.

  Kudos to the owner / architect who had revamped an old Maltese mansion into a architectural gem. Very hip, very cool. The hotel has less than 20 ensuite rooms, each decorated in its own unique style. Most rooms are quite sizable but there are some on the highest floor have no standard windows but skylight windows instead. Other amenities include lounge, breakfast room, spa and a pool on the roof top. The location is also very convenient for the sighs in central Valletta. Overall clean, comfortable, secure and friendly staff. Only negative comment is that the shower stall in my room is a tad leaky. Still, I will highly recommend this hotel. Great experience.

  Very nice hotel. The breakfast could be better. Cool pool at the roof. Nice staff.
