Off the beaten track but well worth the discovery.I wanted to escape the cars and motorbikes on a sunday in malta and found a trail with a difference. This is more a heritage trail through the ages, neolithic to modern day. Discovered by a man called Harry he is helped by ex pat volunteers who live on the island. The French lady was very nice and explained things and we had quite a long chat about the world in general. The fear is when Harry can't be here anymore the local council wont have a voice of reason anymore to stop the developers building hotels and destroying the history forever.I wasn't in a position to volunteer but perhaps our footprints on this hill can slow down the possible destruction. The Roman baths are but a small part of the site.Neolithic tombs,a temple,a roman road, caves and much more. The cart ruts are interesting. My phone ran out of battery power but i had a quiet traffic free day in the fresh air.If you start by the apiaries the trail to the baths is by the green single bar gate. The path that goes up hill takes you back to reality.gun hides where wild birds are executed with shotguns. The maltese army do navigation exercises in the area.I met a few.All very friendly.Word of warning Locals use the Roman road as a mountain bike track.very fast,no warning.I met them too. That's it.go see for yourself.Im going to include my Pauls bay pics on here too.this trail also known as xemxija heritage trail.First 2 photos are of the aquaduct advertised in The St Paul's area. Not worth a visit really.Situated on a major road and very little remains. You can't get close.

Good history. They weren't built for tourist so if you plan to visit them don't complain about how far it is etc

Stunning piece of history nestled into the hillside. We were the only ones there too!

Not worth visiting by itself, but its surrounded by other interesting Prehistoric, Roman and Punic sites. The baths themselves are in a good state although not very ornate, however visitors can get a very clear image of how they were in their prime.
