  I visited Malta in June 2017 and visited the Wembley Store on Republic Street. This store as been here forever and I recall it from when I lived in Malta some many years ago now, in fact it's one of the oldest corner deli and liquor stores in Valetta. It really is a landmark and has been in the same family since it firt opened. Across three floors, the store has an amazing range of both local and international gourmet food items and exquisite wines and craft beers, that you just can't buy anywhere else and the pastries are yum. Great for gift shopping too. The staff is super friendly and so patient.

  Large selection of wines but deli was a little expensive

  One of the oldest buildings and food store in Valletta.Worth a visit whether you are on the look out for exquisite savory/sweet products or a fine bottle of wine.. You can also pop by their side window stall for some tasty Sicilian pastries, also open on Sundays!
