::The Victory Philharmonic Society was founded in 1898 and it was the first musical band to be formed in Gozitan villages. The Society has a glorious history. Throughout the years, it was led by brave musical directors. In 1994, the Victory Band made history as it was the first one to perform in Canada during a visit which took place between 19th September and 3rd October.
