Charming place. If you want to get there before all the tourists to get some great pictures, show up early and get the first boat over! (9am approximately)

Absolutely gorgeous place to spend a day or afternoon whilst visiting in Malta. It is not a big place so it could get crowdy quickly. The view from the rocky hill is stunning. Do not forget to check all surrounding views. Crystal clear water to swim and cobalt blue ocean on the other side and several caves where you can explore with a smaller boat.

The blue Lagoon is an amazing destination with unreal tranquil scenery. Crystal clear waters and secluded caves to be adventured in too. There are a few things to consider when visiting here though. No.1 The beach is tiny and fills up very quickly and continues to stay rammed until late in the evening. No.2 take your own drinks and snacks as the very few stalls that are there selling such items, are very expensive for the quality/quantity. No.3 it is very difficult to find some shade so wear a hat and sunglasses! Major tip here - A guy called Tony has a speed boat docked here, and it is a brilliant ride, he shows you round the caves and thumps it along the waters giving you a good thrill for 15euro :)

Crowded beach on secluded island. This is a must check out place when visiting Malta. Water temperature was nice even in early May. Crystal clear water with plenty of small shops and food vendors around.

Crystal clear water - small sandy beach which is fully occupied by swimmers even when the water is cold. Be sure that you are taking a small trek up the hills, the sea is equally pretty on the other side. If you can carry , take your food and water with you, or it might cost you dear over there. There are some adventure activities, did not see much of it any way.
