  I found it worth it to make the walk towards St Mary’s tower which offered a bit of history and very scenic views of Malta and the lagoons from Comino. You’ll get to climb the stairs up towards the tower which was unfortunately closed when we ascended. Nonetheless the views were spectacular and the experience thrilling. Like others, we weren’t able to find a way to tell when the tower would be open or not.

  Nice building. Good explenation in a lot of languages. Very friendly people. Nicely maintained. Amazing view over Comino (&Gozo) You can get in by donation.

  It was closed when we got there and there's no timetable to check when will it open. Nevertheless, the view here is super panoramic. You can see both Gozo and Malta islands at the same time. At sunset it can be very romantic. Totally worth the hike from the Blue Lagoon.
