Expensive food, and terrible! Dry pork, a side of spinach and potatoes that looked like it came straight from a €0.50 lidl microwave meal. On top of this, they sneakily added €10 to the handwritten receipt that only contained 2 things: drinks and food.

In our first day in Malta we went to Lorenzo's to have dinner after a long journey. The place was cosy so we decided to order. At first the menu has only two pages as Antonia says and the waitress was very rude... The menu had no salads and we decided to order one starter and two main plates (Rissoto and pasta), also some wine. The waitress Forced us to order more expensive plates such as meat or fish for main instead what we wanted... After this rude behavior we decided to leave obviously dissatisfied...

If you want to receive rude service and be misjudged this is the place to be in Malta! My friends and I were looking for a nice place to spend our last evening in St. Julians. We entered Lorenzo’s and were welcomed by the suspicious look of the owner who told us we might be at the wrong place. Nevertheless, we decided to take a look at the menu which was only two pages – one for drinks and one for meals. We didn’t like anything so we apologized and as we were leaving the owner said, “you have no money, go eat at Burger King” … Just because we are young women doesn’t mean we don’t have money. And is this the way an owner should treat his clients??? He was a truly unpleasant man and only my manners stopped me from saying something bad to him! Afterwards, we found a really nice restaurant where we received nice and polite service. We ate salads, soups and pizzas … and guess what, this place was NOT Burger King.
