Located in one of side streets of Valletta, Loft sixty one offers enjoyable journey through coffee world. Various excellent coffee's on place but if you would like to take some with you they offer nice selection of coffee beans from local roasters

As the cousin of Lot Sixty One from Amsterdam, the Maltese little sister seems to be as laid-back, calm and offering consistent quality. It’s located in a quiet corner in the old town centre of Valletta, right next to the famous St John’s Co-Cathedral and Grandmaster Palace Courtyard, perfect to escape from the touristic crowd. I ordered a flat white and a quinoa croissant. The coffee is as good as I got in Amsterdam as I can remember. The vegan croissant is a new experience, I enjoyed it. The staff is very friendly and enthusiastic about coffee, in the third wave way, which is quite rare in a country that gets so much influence from Italy and Arabic countries who don’t necessarily treat coffee the same way. If I had more time to spend in Valletta, I would definitely come back more times!

Perfect little hideaway in the center of Valletta. Great selection of coffee and tea. Homemade pastries. The breads are divine. Do yourself a favor and try the iced chai with a shot of espresso. Worth the wait on a busy morning. Service is great. Friendly staff.

Marvelous little hole-in-the-wall coffee place. Lot Sixty One is providing a bean-to-cup experience, not only offering information on the provenance of its beans but also roasting them fresh in Malta. Loose leaf tea is available too along with home-made loafs, buttery croissants and moist muffins. Often, there is only one Barrista, thus it may take a bit of time to have your favourite brew prepared. Outdoor seating is available with ample sunshine in the mid-morning hours. Not to be missed whilst in Valletta!

Probably one of the best coffees you can try on Malta (definitely the best in Valletta). The guys roast coffee them selves, so, they know what they do. The good thing also that you can choose which one you want for your "flat white". The cakes they have are also very very good. There is not so much sitting places in the cafe but what the hell, if the weather is good take coffee to go and enjoy sun and see view outside.
