  The origins of this bus stop are shrouded in the midst of time. There is a theory that the original Bounty chocolate bar adverts were inspired by this stop's location. Disappointingly, Mars plc didn't find coconuts growing here, despite assurances to the contrary. However, it was deemed a good spot to film anyway and the 1985 advertising campaign was based in the local area.
