::Stunning church, take your time to look at the ceiling and the stained glass windows, best on a sunny day when the light is illuminating the glass. Plenty to see inside so have a leisurely stroll around, have a seat in the pews at the front and wait for a walking tour to pass and then listen to what they have to say. Knowledgeable curators on hand for any questions you may have. Tickets available from the museum opposite - includes entrance their as well. Currently €10 per person, discounts for children and seniors with ID proof of age.

::Great day trip while in Malta. Quick tour of the church and lunch at one of the cafe / restaurants inside the 'city walls.' Should take 3-4 hours.

::In Mdina there are so many cathedrals.All are beautifully constructed and painted inside. Nonetheless you are a believer or not, you should visit all of them. These are truly works of art full of spirituality and peace.

::I was not impressed by he fact that there was a ticket worth €10 to pay to get into the cathedral. The building itself is nice from the outside. I think the church in general is making enough money to get people’s donation instead....
