Mater Dei...More like Marter Die because the waiting time was so long. It wasn't a busy day, probably 10 people were sitting in the minor care corner when we arrived. There was a German couple which had waited 6 hours to get to the doctor for one single minute only to be told that they had to wait another 4 hours to get their results and leave. During the 5 hours we spend there they managed to have a look at 5 patients before us which is quite terrible honestly. Furthermore the hospital wasn't clean at all. There even was a cockroach underneath our seats in the waiting area. I really didn't feel comfortable in this hostpital and I wouldn't recommend to go there.

Service on a level which is not easily matched. Proud to have this hospital in my home country. Organisation and cleanliness on a much higher level than that of public hospitals anywhere else. Big well done to all the team

Had a dislocated shoulder. Now I had that before in my home country, Netherlands. I know, once in the hospital it should take maybe half an hour to be put back in. It took like 2 hours here. The most important thing for the hospital is documentation and stuff to be carried out. Then I was just left on a bed with everyone walking past me and me in total pain. Some guy tried to put my arm in something to hold it, but it only increased pain. They wanted x-rays although some other hospital employee told me it wasn't necessary. The method was an old fashioned painful one, unlike the super smooth one I had in the Netherlands. Advice: go to St. James Hospital while you can. More professional.

Amazing place to land up in the need. Received professional service including assessment, examination and tests free of charge (NHS EU card). I was rereffered 2 times to different cliniques and it took me less than 4hours. Doctors very kind and enthusiastic about their job. I would give another few stars if possible. Thank you Dr Donia G. and the whole crew. You are amazing people.
