  Lovely little restaurant with friendly and helpful staff, i had the pot of mussels which was huge and absolutely delicious and my uncle had the rabbit which he also really enjoyed. Price was very reasonable too, highly recommend checking this out!

  Excellent food, very welcoming and great value. Such a pity they're on holiday and closed for the rest of the week.

  update - 2nd time in ad many days that we are taking our meals at Scruples. This time it's lunch. Food's still as good as the 1st time. Ordered the seafood platter and braised beef stuff with more meat. Very flavourful. For some strange reason, it took quite a while for the food to be prepared. Previous - Scruples isn't that highly rated on Google Map, but what attracted me was the fact that I see locals Maltese actually taking their supper in this restaurant! When in doubt, go where the locals eat has always worked for me. One of the local diner recommended a lobster bisque risotto topped with grill prawns. That was the best ever risotto I've eaten in a long while! Absolutely yummilicious with every spoonful of the risotto and prawn meat. OK..that was the mains which was large enuf for 2 person to share but you might want to ask the chef to add in an extra portion of grilles prawns! The starter weren't bad either. The vegetable soup was freshly pureed and creamy! The octopus cooked in olive oil and garlic (heaps of garlic) was pretty good too. Although personally I would have preferred a tad less garlicky as it's a pity for it overwhelmed the freshness of the octopus. Perhaps a simple grill would have bee better? The operators of this small but cozy restaurant are exceptional friendly but service was a tad slow. Still, it would take time to cook a delicious meal! 4.5 stars
