::Budget Malta is run by absolute bandits. We were made to pay a 1000 Euro deposit. They have now withdrawn 650 euros from my card claiming that we broke the tailgate light. We did not and have video evidence to prove it was broken when we picked up the car. No one will answer my calls or emails. Considering legal action. DO NOT USE THEM

::if possible I would like to give 0 star. misleading customers. on the website you book BMW 5 series or similar but when you arrive to pick up car, apparently it was an error on their website. i always double check when i booked something and i double check before arriving when on arrival, there come the surprise! oh not to forget, RUDE customer service!! Beaware! If you have to pay few pound extra, book elsewhere. I'm a regular user of Budget Car Rental in UK and now I doubt, will be rentaling from them anywhere in the world!

::Beware of budget and avis they are both stealing right your money in your face they say a price on the phone but when you arrive at the airport ask you for much more money then you are supposed to so yes to you both companies I hope that this message will make other people think again and avoid you. I have been renting from Malta every year but never had such a bad service and no one ever lied to my face like this!!!!!!

::Had no issue at all. Very straightforward pick up. Dropped car early in the morning and left key at the desk. After that was only billed for the rent as agreed at a good rate.

::I received the car with a dodgy fuel indicator which I made them wrote in the fault report and made them signed it as well. Returned the car with no problems. After 5 days they took £48 from my credit card apparently for Pre-paid fuel charge which I did not ask for. Try to dispute it, but their costumer service have a contract signed where I apparently requested it. I won't recommend and I won't hire car from this company anymore for the lack of integrity.
