  Nice little restaurant at the basement with good ambience. Good selection of local wine at reasonable price. Food was average, nothing spectacular.

  Cena davvero ottima. Discreta scelta di vini. Un po caro. Nel complesso rapporto qualita prezzo corretto.

  Plateau maltais excellent dans les caves de ce restaurant sympathique. Tres bon accueil. Cafes offerts. Pour moins de 15 euros par personne je recommande

  The food was absolutely wonderful, full of unique and artistically developed flavours. Our server was very friendly and confident, checking on our table often. The atmosphere is comfortable and quaint in a small beautifully recreated underground space. At one part of the restaurant you can see right into the kitchen where they are preparing the food. Complimentary starters were given of fresh bread, white truffle and mushroom spreads. Overall a wonderful experience. Thank you and well done Grotto Tavern!
