  Had no problems to get the key from SIXT. But the big problem was that the car was blocked by other rental cars that SIXT owned. The parking lot for rental cars are so small, so they've to park the cars all over the place to fit them. So we had to go back to the reception at the arrival lobby and tell the employee that he had to move some cars in order for us to get out. He was the only one working this time as well (around 9 pm) .. Rent from Goldcar instead, they had personnel standing at the rental car park to assist.

  We rented two cars (Peugeot 108) for a week. Both cars had big scratches, broken hubcaps, etc, but we didn't reported them on-site, only in email next day. We received the cars with full tank, clean interior and everything else was fine. Before we returned the cars, we cleaned the interior a little bit from the salt and sand. Everything went fine, the staff was kind and professional and we received back the 1200€ deposit without any deduction.

  I was charged additional fees after returning the car. After already charging my card without consent their explanation was they needed to charge for one more day, even though it was booked in advance for the correct days. Feel scammed and I shall not use Sixt again.

  Today while i was leaving keys of another rent a car company in Luqa airport , i was filling their papers on sixt desk. And when i moved to my departure gate,i noticed that my phone was missing, i just checked everywhere and also when i bqck and checked sixt desk in case , the gentleman working there was kept my phone in safe and when i back he waved to me to give my phone back. i was amazed for his help and personality. Such a reliable and great personality. It is nice to know there is still such a great people exist in the world. 👏👏👏🙏🙏🙏

  Sixt Malta place to avoid. I was travelling with my wife and two small kids to Malta for holidays. I was late the at Sixt’s office because the plane delay. The guy who was at the counter used this fact for Sixt benefit. First I was charged 16 Euro penalty and the guy informed me that booking was canceled although it a full paid. That he charged me 2000 Euro deposit for Ford Focus. Later I found out from other Sixt guy that he should charged me 1200 Euro. What a difference! Rented car had damaged front bumper and because it was dark I did not notice it at the parking lot. The guy at the counter did not informed me about it of course. So instead enjoying holidays with my family I spent a couple stressful hours wondering how it could happened. Sixt? Never again.
